This car park is located outside the ZTL (limited traffic zone).
Car park in the centre of Rome, very close to the Porta Pinciana and a few metres from one of the main entrances to the Villa Borghese Park. You can recognise this car park by the Hertz and Avis signs.
The Sardegna (ex-Romapaking) car park is perfect if you want to spend your day immersed in nature, whilst also visiting one of the most emblematic places in the Roman capital like the Villa Borghese. Inside the Villa Borghese Park, you'll find the Borghese Gallery, Raffaello Casino, Esculapio Temple, Piazza di Siena, Modern and Contemporary Art Gallery, Cinema House, Rome Biopark and various museums such as the Civic Zoology Museum, MACRI, Pietro Canónica Museum and Carlo Bilotti Museum. Quite an impressive line-up! From the car park, going through the Villa Borghese Park, you can get to Pincio, with its spectacular viewing deck and to the Piazza del Popolo, just below, where the Basilica of Santa Maria del Popolo stands proud.
From the Piazza del Popolo you can stroll along the entire Via del Babuino to the well-known Piazza di Spagna and the Trinitá dei Monti. There are also many other points of interest that you can walk to in under 10 minutes, including the Horti Sallustiani, Via Vittorio Veneto, Italian Mint Numsimatic Museum, Baths of Diocletian and the church of Santa María della Vittoria. Once you have arrived in the area and parked in the centre of Rome, you can get around the whole city with ease, just by hopping on the metro, line A, at stations like, Spagna, Piazza di Spagna, or Barberini, near the Piazza Barberini, where you can visit the National Gallery of Antique Art; lastly, there is Repubblica, in the Piazza della Repubblica, a few metres from the Rome Opera Theatre. All three are less than 3 minutes' walk from the MUOVIAMO Sardegna car park.
Metro line A can also quickly get you to Roma Termini station, as well as the Valle Aurelia and Flaminio train stations, passing by the Cinecittá, the Ottaviano neighbourhood and the Piazza Vittorio Emanuele. Getting there is very simple because it's on Via Sardegna, parallel to the Corso d'Italia. Parking in Rome, in the MUOVIAMO Sardegna (ex-Romapaking) car park, is therefore the best option if you want to visit the centre nearby and if you also want to visit more outlying, though equally as intriguing areas. Either way, you know you've left your car in good hands. The car park also offers numerous services to clients, such as good disabled access, CCTV surveillance and a car wash.
Be careful when driving to the MUOVIAMO Sardegna (ex-Romapaking) car park, because the city’s Limited Traffic Zone starts a few streets away from Rome’s historic center. The movement of cars is prohibited during certain hours, so it’s possible to be fined.
